Le Chene Hosts Exciting New Events

Le Chene French Cuisine, local favorite restaurant along Sierra Highway, has announced several events held in their gardens and banquet room this summer.
Sunday June 9, 2019: Paella in the Garden – By popular demand, owner Juan Alonso is bringing back his annual Paella in the Garden again this year. Taking place in Le Chene’s beautiful gardens from 12 noon to 4 p.m., guests are invited to enjoy an afternoon feast of Spanish appetizers, assorted seafood paella, and Spanish dessert. Juan’s Red Wine will be poured for the event, and bottles will be available for purchase to take home. This is a fun event to soak in the warm weather and enjoy the spectacle of paella preparation. Paella in the Garden costs a total of $80 per person.
Saturday June 22, 2019: Murder Mystery Dinner – Partnered with Sharpo Entertainment, Le Chene will host a dinner theater in their alluring banquet room in the evening of June 22. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., when guests will be given a chance to socialize with other each other over cocktails, gathering evidence before taking a seat in one of the large dinner tables. This dinner will feature a five-course meal (two main entrees to choose from) and will be paired with two types of wines. Sharpo’s actors will stay in character throughout the event, meanwhile all other guests will participate as suspects in a crime investigation. This event costs a total of $80 per person, which will cover all costs of both the dinner and show.
Sunday July 14, 2019: Bastille Day and Argentina Independence Day Celebration – For the first time ever, Le Chene will be hosting an outdoor feast celebrating a combination of Bastille Day (also known as French National Day on July 14) and Argentina Independence Day (celebrated on July 9). Inspired by his wife Claudia, Juan Alonso has prepared a delicious menu that features the authentic taste of Argentinian BBQ with the help of The Gauchos Catering. This event will be held in Le Chene’s gardens on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and its menu includes an assortment of savory meats, such as Argentinian asado, short ribs, and chorizo criollo. A bottle of Juan’s Red Wine will also be provided per couple attending, but additional wine and beverages are available for purchase. Bastille Day and Argentina Independence Day Celebration costs $100 per person.
