Math Support can balance your Summer Equation!
As the school year is winding down, many parents are looking for opportunities to make the most of the summer for their child. For the past 25 years, Junior High and High School students have done just that by attending SCV’s only private supplemental school for math and science.
Math Support Services was founded in 1993. By 1997 it was the first to achieve full accreditation through WASC and began offering “for credit” courses approved by the Hart District. Students in seventh through twelfth grade may take any math or science course with the advisement of their counselor or principal.
Many local school options are independent study, but at MSS we give students an effective learning environment, solid instruction and homework help resulting in long term knowledge and future success. Over the past 25 years students have taken more than 7,000 courses with 98 percent of the students achieving B’s and A’s.
Your child may also be qualified to move ahead in math by taking a Bridge to an Honors course or even an entire year of Geometry A/B, Math 8A/B and other transferable credit courses. These new options can accelerate them in math or science sequence when they return in the fall!
If students need to retake a math or science course it grade will replace their deficient grade with a new grade and earn the credit they need.
Our summer options allow families to take vacations or participate in sports. Classes are held in the morning and evenings. Extensive summer enrichment options are available to prepare students for next year, the PSAT/SAT/ACT for college or participate in fun activities (4th-12th grade).
Applications for Math Support Services summer school classes are available on our website www.mathsupportservices.com. For further information, contact Peggy at 661-255-1730.
