We Have Moved!
At Copper Hill Animal Clinic, we are so excited to announce that we have moved to a larger facility. Substantial client demand led to the need to move, and we are now in a beautiful facility where two doctors can be available every day. We look forward to serving our community in this new facility, only blocks away from our original hospital.
As Dr. Vanessa was working with the award-winning architectural firm who designed the project, she described certain priorities. Because of her 13-year history in feline specific medicine, serving the cat population was a very important factor in the design. Separate cat reception areas and exam rooms will ensure that our feline friends will feel safe and comfortable. Our practice has been an AAFP certified feline friendly practice since its inception and the new hospital was a wonderful chance to improve our service to cats.
Other improvements in the new facility include a top of the line digital x-ray processor. This machine takes x-rays in minutes and is enabled to use for telemedicine consults with expert radiologists, cardiologists and Exotics specialists. It is also possible for clients to view x-rays via internet link directly in their own home if they are unable to come in to discuss results with the veterinarian. The quality of this unit is so superb, that it is possible to create diagnostic images of something as small as an 18-gram bearded dragon all the way up to our giant breed dog friends.
Our new hospital has been designed with cutting edge diagnostic ability in mind, but we persist in offering a homelike atmosphere for all our animal friends. We can’t wait to see you!
