A Day of Celebration

 Oakmont Senior Living celebrated their newest community, Oakmont of Valencia, with a grand opening event on Saturday, July 13.
Oakmont of Valencia, led by Oakmont Senior Living veteran Margie Veis, is a two-story, 85,000-square-foot resort-style senior living community in the Santa Clarita Valley. It features 40 assisted living and 50 memory care apartment homes.
Team members have worked tirelessly to see this day and celebrate it with residents, prospective residents and members of the Oakmont family. There was an official ribbon-cutting and the event featured food prepared by the talented culinary team and live entertainment by Mark Levang Music.  Attendees also had the opportunity to tour the new community in an “Around the World” theme.
“We have watched this community take shape from the ground up and we are so happy to open our doors to residents, prospective residents and the greater community,” said Executive Director Veis. “We were so excited that so many of our community came out and celebrated with us on our very special day at Oakmont of Valencia and for Oakmont Senior Living.”
With gourmet dining, on and off-site recreational and social activities, a salon and day spa, and two movie theaters, the community offers five-star amenities and services to active seniors and those in need of quality assisted living and memory care services. Chauffeured transportation and concierge services will make daily tasks even easier. Oakmont of Valencia will also offer a Wellness Center, a nurse on-site seven days a week, 24-hour care services and a Concierge Physician Program.
Care options are customized to the needs of each resident and will include medication management, housekeeping, health monitoring and assessments, grooming assistance, dietary guidance, diabetic programs, escort services to offsite appointments and activities, appointment coordination and temporary in-home care.
