Celebration at Salt Creek Grille
20 years ago, Salt Creek Grille Valencia opened the doors to the new location in the Santa Clarita Valley. Over the years this location has become a staple to the community. For their stellar customer service, flavorful dishes and inviting atmosphere they have won several awards and accolades including the most recent Ultimate Chef.
For the past 20 years Chef Ignacio “Nacho” Munoz has played an integral role in Salt Creek’s success. His creations and attention to detail really make the food in the restaurant just that much more delightful. Born in Tepatitlan, Jalisco, Mexico; Chef Munoz got his training from working in the kitchen to help his mom make meals for he and his 12 siblings, then taking his education to the next level by helping his family in their restaurant in Mexico. In 1996, he moved to the US for more opportunities and to expand his skills. Finding work in an assortment of restaurants around California he eventually found his permanent home with Salt Creek Valencia. He began as the sous chef and in 2004 the executive chef position came available and he seizing the opportunity. Over the years, Chef Munoz has incorporated his life-long experience to satisfy the ever-growing tastes of the community around him and continues to enjoy delivering delicious dining experiences.
Stop by Salt Creek Grille Valencia located at 24415 Town Center Dr #115, Valencia, CA 91355 and join in the celebration. Be sure to congratulate Chef Munoz if you get a chance to see him.
