Alzheimer’s Prevention
I have been following the groundbreaking research regarding Alzheimer’s prevention as it unfolds. There are several neurologists/researchers who will go down in history as heroes. These heroes are spreading the word about Alzheimer’s prevention, despite the lack of support from government sponsored Associations or big pharmaceutical companies.
These heroes are writing books, hosting podcasts, and directly helping their patients prevent and lessen the effects of Alzheimer’s disease. One such hero, Dr. David Perlmutter, a board-certified neurologist, has recently created twelve 30- to 45-minute videos, available free to the public. In these videos, Dr. Perlmutter and his impressive medical guests discuss the causes of Alzheimer’s disease, and what each of us can do, to keep our brains healthy. The series is thought provoking, and extremely important to watch and implement the suggestions. You can view a “trailer” of this video series by searching Facebook for “science of prevention – Trailer”. The website to sign up for these videos is https://scienceofprevention.com.
After entering your email, you will be notified when the series is available to view. Each video is offered on a different day, and you will be emailed a link to view the video.
Even if you feel you are not at risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease, you will learn what factors actually and clearly put you at risk, and why. The information offered is important and should be shared. I suggest that each person visit https://scienceofprevention.com and watch the videos as they become available. It is critical information, and may very well change your future, and the future of your loved ones.
