Shop and Support
Closet on Main (COM) is a local favorite boutique located in trendy Downtown Newhall. COM sells both new and gently used clothing. This store is mostly volunteer-run as all proceeds go toward supporting the mission of SCV nonprofit, Single Mothers Outreach (SMO). SMO’s mission is “to empower single parents and their children by providing hope, support, and resources so that families can become self-sustaining and thrive”. The money generated by the store is used to fund programs for moms and children in our community.
The items sold at the boutique have been made possible by the generosity of gracious donors. The store just received wonderful donations from White House Black Market and Chico’s. COM attracts numerous customers every day with its low prices for high-quality items. Some remarkable finds include designer glasses, handbags, shoes, beachwear and clothing that appeal to all tastes. Shoppers of all ages and sizes are guaranteed to find something just perfect for them.
Stepping into Closet on Main, customers notice the new shabby boutique look plus a positive and welcoming atmosphere; this is all due to passionate people who purposefully choose to spend their time serving COM customers and supporting SMO. Customers are able to leave the store pleased knowing they got some great deals on one-of-a-kind items and all proceeds will go toward changing the life of a single parent in need of a helping hand.
Store hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Stop by Closet On Main today and pick up some incredible finds; inventory is updated weekly, so expect to find something new every week! Please make sure to look for your beautiful Halloween Costume at COM this month and do not forget you can always donate them later for next year resale.
