Thursday, October 3 – Soundcheck presents: Public Shadows, One Step Closer and Manu Beker – 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Soundcheck is ending its season with a bang! Join us in our biggest show yet as we bring in three full acts for a night of incredible music. Located at The MAIN.

Thursday, October 3 – 10 by 10: Variety Night – 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Join us for 10 by 10, the FREE monthly variety show in Old Town Newhall featuring music, film, storytelling, magic, comedy and more!

Friday, October 4 – Comedy Mashup – October! – 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Comedy Mashup returns to The MAIN for another great evening of comedy and improv. A little more about the cast: Comedy Mashup is a group of working comedians and improvisers from all over the Valley and Hollywood that come together once a month to put on a show that is one half stand up and the other half improv comedy. Located at The MAIN.

Farmers Market – 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Every Saturday, California farmers and specialty food purveyors come together each Saturday, rain or shine, to bring you the finest in fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables, including organic, baked goods, flowers, herbs, cheeses, and prepared foods. The Market offers patrons a chance to come face to face with their food source. Located in the Old Town Newhall Library.

Saturday, October 5 – ARTree – Flutterby Open Art Studio
10 a.m. -1:00 p.m.
Flutterby is a no-charge open art studio held on the first Saturday of each month for kids and their parents to come in and make art! All art materials are provided, no prior registration necessary. Located at ARTree Community Arts Center.

Saturday, October 5 – Hart of the West Native American Pow Wow and
Craft Fair – 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to experience a significant slice of Native American culture at the 25th Annual Hart of the West Powwow. We hope you will come and enjoy the dancers, drummers and the numerous displays of arts and crafts. Located at William S. Hart Park.

Saturday, October 5 – Peter and the Starcatcher – 2 p.m.
A young orphan and his mates are shipped off from Victorian England to a distant island ruled by the evil King Zarboff. More dates through November 2, 2019. Located at Canyon Theatre Guild

Improvised music, comedy, scenes, the works. If you’ve seen “Whose Line Is It Anyway” you have an idea of what kind of hilarious, energetic comedy that team improv can be. If you come to our show, you will laugh. If you don’t, there’s no one who can help you. Located at The Main

Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery – 8 p.m.
Get your deerstalker cap on — the play’s afoot! Comedic genius Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo) transforms Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic The Hound of the Baskervilles into a murderously funny adventure. More dates through November 3, 2019. Located at the Canyon Theatre Guild

Bridgeway Theatre CO is proud to present The Diary of Anne Frank, written by Frances Goodrich, Albert Hackett and directed by Stephan Nieman. Located at The MAIN.

Sunday, October 13th – Bow-Wows & Meows Pet Fair – 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Join us for a FREE, fun-filled day for the whole family! Celebrating Pets, Encouraging Animal Awareness and Promoting Pet Adoption. Located at the William S. Hart Park

Thursday, October 17 – Block Party – Halloween Haunt – 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
The wildly popular SENSES Block Party is doing it last one of the year. Grab a drink from the on street bar, dance the night away to high energy performers, and order a bite from the food trucks or local restaurants. Friday, October 25 – The Rocky Horror Picture Show Screening – 11:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
Let’s do the Time Warp again for the 1975 cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show! This is the perfect kickoff to your Halloween festivities, don’t miss two screenings of this musical science fiction comedy horror film at The MAIN in Old Town Newhall on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26.

HorrorHaus is a three-day Los Angeles area film festival dedicated to the creative works of independent filmmakers from around the world with a penchant for horror. As filmmakers ourselves, we recognize talented artists who bring their visual storytelling gifts to the screen. We gather unique and spine-tingling trailers, shorts, features, web series, music videos and screenplays from around the world and showcase them during an exciting weekend, complete with red carpet, networking events, parties, and a top-notch awards ceremony. Located at The MAIN.
