Bringing a dream in fruition is no easy feat. The amount of perseverance and work ethic it takes is inconceivable to so many. Rafael has always dreamed of owning a Mexican restaurant. Starting from humble beginnings he worked his way up through the various positions in the restaurant industry.
Working his way up from dishwasher, cook, server, bartender to manager, he learned every aspect of the restaurant business.  Along the way, he discovered that his greatest joy is seeing customers savor authentic food in a family-like atmosphere.
Coming from a large family rich in tradition and fabulous food selections;
Rafael held on to his recipes handed down through generations utilizing these recipes in his now very popular restaurant.
Today, he is the very proud owner of Azul Tequila, but Rafael never forgets his humble beginnings and his love for his customers.
