Holiday Cheer Is Here!

 The Holidays are here and we are so excited to bring you another issue of the fabulous Old Town Newhall Section. With the month of “scary” and “spooky” over the Santa Clarita community begins bringing out all their harvest and cheery décor. Old Town Newhall welcomes this time every year with events, art and culture all around holiday themes.
This month, families gather in droves to come and see the annual Light Up Main Street which is on November 16 from 6-9p.m. Every year, Main Street transforms into a winter wonderland for people of all ages to take part in. Attendees are given the opportunity to enjoy authentic snow, festive performances, photos with Santa Claus while visiting local vendors and crafts stores to find unique gifts for the holiday season. The celebration includes the lighting of the 23-foot-tall Christmas tree in front of the Old Town Newhall Library. If you have not had the chance to see this magnificent feat be sure to stop by this year and bring your favorite people.
Also this month, Old Town Newhall is vibrant with holiday cheer. If you are one for the arts, Canyon Theatre Guild puts on lives performances of holiday classics. So be sure to check their website for a list of what they have in store this season. Continuing the holiday cheer stop by The MAIN this November for everything from comedy shows to musical performances from local bands you will always find great entertainment here!
