American Heart Association’s Annual Heart & Stroke Walk
Hundreds of Santa Clarita Valley residents gathered for the American Heart Association’s annual Heart & Stroke Walk at Bridgeport Park on Nov. 9, 2019. Many local companies supported the event, including Abbott, the top fundraising team in Santa Clarita Valley, which came in full force with more than 100 staff and family members participating. Santa Clarita was one of four cities that hosted a Heart & Stroke Walk this year. Together, the events raised more than $1.5 million. The Heart & Stroke Walk is sponsored by Keck Medicine of USC, UCLA Health, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Huntington Hospital and Adventist Health.
