“What a wild ride I have had so far, I was fortunate to be rescued by animal lovers as me and my friend Priscilla were hanging out on Sierra Highway. We’re just young pups so we really did not know the danger we were in and are quite thankful to our rescuers. Our new human friends brought us to The Brittany Foundation where we are safe and already loved by everyone even though we have only been here a couple of weeks. I am just learning to walk on a leash, very puppy like, love nothing more than a belly rub and most of all I promise to be the best friend you have ever had.” I’m a six to seven-month-old Chi boy mixed with lots of handsome.

“So, my best friend Presley and I found ourselves right in the middle of chaos as we were running around on Sierra Highway when we were fortunate to be scooped up by two concerned and compassionate humans. They knew The Brittany Foundation would be a safe and loving place so they took us here. We are currently enjoying our daily walks with the staff and love running around the yard together during playtime. They tell me I am a quick learner, extremely loving, have loads of potential and am quite beautiful.” I’m a six or seven-month-old beautiful female Standard Pinscher.

“Why not me, I wonder? I am a happy, smart, loving Puggle. I love a good long walk and have quite a bit of energy for a girl my age (only eight years) but I can also sit quietly chewing on a nylabone at your feet. I greet everyone I meet with a wag and a smile. I have repeatedly been voted “Most Outgoing” by the staff and have never met a person I did not like. I came here with my friend Gretchen. We were fortunate to have lived in a loving home so we know what it takes to live in a house. Gretchen and I have been here for two years and while we are forever thankful we would still each love an opportunity to live in a home. Could that be yours?”
Jake
“I am coming up on my two-year mark at The Brittany Foundation and, while I am well taken care and a staff favorite, I would love nothing more than a home and person of my very own.  I know I am here because life got in the way and my family could no longer keep me. I am definitely a people person and need to be your whole world, so a home with no other dogs or children is where I will do best. I still have a good amount of energy so I will need a couple of walks a day but not too long I am a senior after-all. After our walks you can expect this 90 pounds of love to sit snuggly in your lap or at least give it a really good try.”
