Giving the Gift of Holiday Cheer Santa’s Helpers 2019

JCI Santa Clarita has been doing Santa’s Helpers for the past 20 years, making it the longest running event for our Jaycees. With support of local businesses and community members, the Jaycees collect, sort, and wrap toys collected in toy donation boxes placed around SCV during November and early December.   Each year families in-need come together for a holiday celebration that provided gifts for their children and teens. This year 322 kids were provided a gift and Co-Chairs TJ Ward, Taylor Kellstrom and Neil Fitzgerald were more than happy to help put this event on. The children and their families then get to attend a memorable Christmas party with Santa Claus and his merry crew all throughout Westfield where they participated in arts and crafts, listen to Dickens-style carolers, and – best of all – ice skate in a private rink (the first time for many).
