“I am the reigning “Best Wiggle Butt” Champion here at The Brittany Foundation because that is the greeting everyone I meet receives. I was rescued from a high kill shelter but despite where I came from, I am the definition of “my cup runneth over”, over with love, that is. While I have some challenges with sight, I get around and along just fine with all of the other dogs here in the senior house. If you are looking for a quiet companion who will always be in your corner, I am the girl for you.”

“I am one of the newest residents at The Brittany Foundation and I have quickly stolen the hearts of all of the volunteers. I am here because my family became very ill and needed to move into assisted living where they do not allow dogs my size. I lived with my family for 10 years, so I am struggling a bit to adjust to life here, but I have found a new friend in Gretchen and we go to the play yard together and for walks so that is helping me adjust. The staff say I am kind, gentle and wonderful on a leash. Do you have room in your home for a sweet old guy like me?”

We are a bonded senior sibling pair that get along great with other dogs. We must be placed together as we have never been apart in our 13 years. Where you find one, you’ll always find the other. We were fortunate to have lived in a wonderful home until our owner passed away two years ago and we would love nothing more than to find a final home to call our own. We are not quite as active as we once were, but we still have loads of love to give. Can you find it in your heart to at least foster us? But of course, adoption would be great too!”

“I lived with a family for 14 years but was recently surrendered to The Brittany Foundation. I guess their life got busy and I was no longer a priority, so I find myself in very unfamiliar territory.  But despite my current circumstances I am excited to see people, follow them everywhere, and want nothing more than for someone to sit and cuddle with me. I still enjoy daily walks and have found a new friend in my roommate, Scotty. I am a Poodle Schnauzer mix and am considered special needs because I require a special food. Do you have room in your heart and home for a super sweet senior like me?”
