Max
“I am the newest resident at the Brittany Foundation and I am doing my best to settle in but it’s been tough since I was left at a boarding facility by people who I thought were my family. So far here, the volunteers all “Love Me” so I hear them say. They say I am affectionate and sweet with everyone I meet, walk excellent on a leash, a bit of an aristocrat so I am told. They think I am about six years old and I have all the traditional traits of a Doberman Pinscher, sleek coat, athletic build, smart and have a noble appearance, but what I want more than anything is a person of my very own. Could that be you?”
Ruby
“I am a happy, sturdy, fearless, fun-loving eight-year-old Miniature Pinscher who loves nothing more than to go for a walk or a hike. I also made a guest appearance on The Hallmark Channel this year so if you are looking for a star, look no further. I have a great deal of energy so activity is essential to my well being and a yard to run around in, well that would be the icing on the cake. I was fortunate to have lived in a loving home for many years but my human family became ill and could no longer care for me so that is why I am here. I get along with other dogs, new people and kids so if you are looking for a loving, spunky, curious protector, I am the girl for you.”
Mickey
“I am told I am gorgeous, loving and always happy but I have been through a lot in my four years. I was hit by a car when I was living on the streets that caused some damage to my bladder which means I struggle a little bit with incontinence but other than that I am a healthy, active, slightly mischievous guy who shows no signs of slowing down. I am a great walker, love to play fetch, get belly rubs, and I am eager to learn new skills. My best friend, partner-in-crime and roommate Kelly just found her forever home and I sure hope my turn is next.”
Priscilla
“So, me and my best friend Presley found ourselves right in the middle of chaos as we were running around on Sierra Highway when we were fortunate to be scooped up by two concerned and compassionate humans. They knew The Brittany Foundation would be a safe and loving place so they took us there. We are currently enjoying our daily walks with the staff and love running around together during playtime. They tell me I am a quick learner, I already know sit, down, shake, high five and take a bow!  And recently I even made a guest appearance on The Hallmark Channel. If you are looking for an up-and-coming star, I am the girl for you.  They think I am about nine months old and a Standard Pinscher.”
Violet
“I am a petite four-year-old with a darling crooked smile. My early months in life we’re pretty rough so when I got here I didn’t trust people at all. In fact, I wouldn’t even let them near me. After many months I now realize they only want the best for me and I run up to everyone looking for cuddles and I love my roommate Maxie and my best friends here are “my girls”, Lori and Zoey. My brothers Sonny and Red are also here waiting for their forever homes. Please check us out, while we are a mixed breed, we are considered loyal and active with the unique attribute of family companions and if that weren’t enough, we are self-cleaning, which means little grooming is ever required for me.”
