Bella Cucina Supports Our Heroes
COVID-19 has disrupted so many industries, causing small business owners to find unique ways to continue business. The restaurant industry in particular has seen some very trying times and with no change in sight, restaurant owners are struggling to keep their doors open. But amongst all this fear and confusion Bella Cucina has found a way to show their support to the community by providing meals to medical professionals who are working to keep this community healthy and safe. Recently, the Bella Cucina team donated food to Olive View Medical Center for nearly 300 people. “We are all struggling right now but we still want to help support our heroes who are on the front line of this pandemic,” commented Chef Toumadi. Also, this last month the popular restaurant donated 150 meals to support homeless individuals in Los Angeles. “We provided 150 personal meals that had sandwiches, salad and a drink, even in a bad situation we are trying to support and help.” The team at bella Cucina wants to remind everyone that we will all get through this and to be patient with the local businesses because they are adjusting to short staff and many other factors brought on by COVID-19. For the next few months Bella Cucina will continue to support the community by donating meals to health organizations. “For every $100 spent we are donating $25 in food to a local hospital for their medical staff,” commented owner Jay Hamzei. “We are staying safe and keeping up with the minute-by-minute changes and as a small business we want to show our support”.
