Golden Valley High School Sal Frias, Principal
The GVHS 2020 senior class continues the trend of all previous Grizzly senior classes in raising the bar of accomplishments. Despite the many frustrating and disappointing events that have transpired during this school year, their mark was made. Some of the best athletic teams, performances and academic efforts will go down in Grizzly legacy. This class contributed to GVHS’ fourth-consecutive U.S. News Best High School ranking as another bar-raising senior group of students.
If future classes can duplicate their achievements, our future Grizzly Nation will continue to stand out. I’m so proud of this class and can’t wait to see them their “real” graduation. I hope you can all make it. Perhaps the best quality of this class, which needs to be shared, is that it’s full of good human beings. They are genuinely the most compassionate and supportive class we have had the pleasure of working with. We will miss you and wish you nothing but the best as you start your next chapters. Congratulations, GVHS Class of 2020.
