“Just a few weeks ago I was Palmdale Animal Shelter’s longest resident and running out of time. But now I am safe at The Brittany Foundation. I just got the all clear, so I am ready for my forever home! They say I am 12 years old but the only way you would know that is because my face is a little frosty. I walk, play and have the energy of a dog half my age, I love tug of war, cuddling on the couch, taking my naps in the sun and splashing around in a kiddie pool. I am definitely a people person and would love to find a hiker, runner or just someone who likes to log a lot of miles! I may be a considered a bully breed but I am a huge softy. They do think I who would do best in an adult only house as the only furry family member. I would just love to be your whole world. Oh. Did I tell you I have a propeller tail?”
HARVEY
“I was only known as #A5354145 at the Lancaster Animal Shelter a few weeks ago, but things are really starting to look up for me. I was rescued by The Brittany Foundation and have affectionately been named Harvey. I have a nice new room here at The Ranch, go on daily walks, and get lots of snuggles from the volunteers, which I LOVE. I have even made new friends in Scotty and Tommy. I am no longer alone because I have a new roommate named Scrappy too. They think I am about 12 years old and mostly Maltese. If you are looking for a loyal, loving best friend who will never leave your side, pick me!”
GRETCHEN
“I have been sweetly sitting at The Brittany Foundation waiting for my forever home for the last 3 years. The volunteers say I am an absolute love, fiercely loyal to those I trust, enjoy short walks, snuggling on the couch and really just being by a person. I am a 10 year old Lab / Puggle mix who is housebroken. I keep my room that I share here with Charlie very tidy, in fact so neat the volunteers say it looks like I cleaned it myself. I keep getting passed over and I am not quite sure why? do you have room in your life for me?”
BOWIE
“I was running out of time at a county shelter before I was rescued by The Brittany Foundation on New Years Eve 2018. They think I am about 10 years old and maybe a Chihuahua / Corgi Mix. My favorite spot is sitting in the sun in my big recliner chair, I enjoy long walks with the volunteers and have been told what a wonderful walker I am repeatedly. I live with the small dog crew here at The Ranch and have made it my job to patrol the yard to protect them all. I just lost my roommate Ruby because she found her forever family and I sure hope my turn is coming soon. How about it? Can you make some space in your life and home for me?”
