Assistance League® Santa Clarita Resale Store Will Be Back
Assistance League® Santa Clarita is working hard to get our resale store ready to open the doors to our customers. We miss seeing you, as you have become more than customers; you are our friends. We will be reopening soon. Please watch our social media pages and our website for details. We are frequently asked, “When will you be accepting donations?” The answer is on the day that we reopen, we will be more than happy to receive your donations. It is the proceeds from our store that provide the funding for our philanthropic programs such as Operation School Bell® and icare for kids. These programs provide new school clothes and shoes, and eye examinations and eyeglasses for students in need. Our tagline is “Transforming lives and strengthening our community.” We believe that many families will need assistance this year because of the Covid-19 pandemic. So, your donations are more important than ever before.
There are companies in Santa Clarita that have been immensely helpful to us as we strive to get our store ready to open. We thank Blessed to Clean. With a generous donation, Howard and Carrie cleaned, sanitized, deodorized, and then fogged our store from the front to the back door. Chuck, at SCV Janitorial Supply, made recommendations and then donated all the supplies we will need to sanitize the store on a regular basis to help maintain the health and safety of our customers and volunteers. Pete and Joe at Steri-Stand have donated a handsfree hand sanitizer dispenser that will be placed at the front door for the use of our volunteers and customers. We thank these local businesses for their support and encouragement as we adjust to meet the challenges that face us today.
We look forward to welcoming you back to our store soon. See our website here: www.assistanceleaguesantaclarita.org.
