So Happy to Be Back…
These last few weeks or should I say months have been a challenge for so many. We are fortunate, as we are in good health and are happy to be back in our store, seeing our customers. We are also thankful that our business is one that was able to easily transition to the CDC guidelines. Social distancing is easy for us given the layout of our store. We immediately wash our hands and sanitize everything after each customer. But I must admit we are still getting used to wearing those masks for long periods. However, it’s a minor discomfort and well worth it if it helps to keep everyone healthy. Whereas our store is certainly one of the safest places to shop during these uncertain times, we are so looking forward to the day when things will return to the real normal.
It was a definite adjustment for us when we had to close our business. We suddenly went from working six days a week to not working at all. I’m guessing we did many of the same things some of you did. We cleaned the house top to bottom. We did a lot of cooking, trying new recipes. Played family games and watched movies. We took a lot of walks. We even did puzzles and we have never been “puzzle people”.
Normally in July, we’d be talking about framing vacation memories, etc., but this year is a bit different. Spending more time at home makes our homes and what we have in them even more important right now. Perhaps adding some newly framed pieces of art or new family photos to your walls might be on your list of projects. Maybe even framing one of those completed puzzles. And, of course, don’t forget those graduation photos and diplomas.
We look forward to seeing you and helping you to make your home an even more enjoyable place to be right now.
