New Beginnings Assistance League
Assistance League Resale has been open again for two months. We are so pleased to see our customers. You cannot see our smiles behind our masks, but please be assured that they are in place. Everyone has been patient with the new protocol necessary because of COVID-19, especially the lines to enter the store. Because of the number of square feet in our store, we may admit only twelve shoppers at a time. The line goes fairly quickly, and lots of friendly chatting and laughing occurs while waiting.
We appreciate all donations brought to us. We accept donations during our open hours, but sometimes our work room fills before closing time, and we must stop for the remainder of the day. A special thank you to our donors who are turned away but return on another day to give us their items. All your donations fill our store with a wide variety of goods, and the proceeds from our sales fund our Operation School Bell® and the many other philanthropic programs of Assistance League.
Construction has begun on the building that will be the new home of Assistance League Santa Clarita®. As you drive by 26045 Bouquet Canyon Road, please notice the banner displayed on the perimeter fence. You will see an artist’s rendition of our new store. Watch for our “spokesmodel”, Allie Bouquet, on our social media pages. She will have updates for the community about our construction progress. You can celebrate our grand opening with us sometime early in 2021!
