The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home – September 2020

by | Aug 25, 2020 | Pet Services

A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.

CHLOE
Super cute puppy alert! Chloe is a 7 month old Jack Russell with possibly Rat Terrier mixed in. When she was brought to us they said she had never been around dogs and was unsocial to people. Well, in a very short period of time that has all changed. She seems to adore every person she meets and is constantly looking for attention and to be picked up. She does get uncomfortable in new situations and will require a lot of love and patience to work through it. She loves her walks, playing fetch and is getting better everyday on the leash. She will need all the basic training though since she is just a puppy. She will require a kind and loving adopter.

WENDY & HUNTER
This ridiculously adorable bonded pair are 6 and 8 years old and possibly Poodle, Papillon and Maltese’s mixes. They were brought to The Brittany Foundation because their home was no longer safe for them. They are inseparable and must be placed together. The staff say they are as sweet as can be but will need an incredibly loving, patient and kind household so they can finally live the peaceful life they so deserve. Hunter is going for daily walks which he just has a blast on, but Wendy is still a bit hesitant. She really relies on him to gauge every situation to let her know it’s ok. Do you have room in your heart for this precious duo?
KING
Why Not Me? Everyone fought desperately for King, a 12 year old bully breed when he was Palmdale Animal Shelter’s longest resident and running out of time but he still needs our help. Yes, he is safe with us, well-fed and taken care of but that’s not enough.
He needs a person to love him, snuggle on the couch with him, walk him and let him know the sun rises and sets on him. King’s journey cannot end here. This unbelievably loving soul deserves a forever home.

HARVEY
“I was only known as #A5354145 at the Lancaster Animal Shelter but things are really starting to look up for me. I was rescued by The Brittany Foundation and have affectionately been named Harvey. I have a nice new room here at The Ranch, go on daily walks, and get lots of snuggles from the volunteers, which I LOVE. I have even made new friends in Chloe and Hunter. I am the definition of my cup runneth over, over with love. They think I am about 12 years old and mostly Maltese. If you are looking for a loyal, loving best friend who will never leave your side, pick me! I promise you will never know a day without love if you do.”
