He knows that if we work together, we can achieve a much-needed shift in thinking that will enable the Hart District to involve all stakeholders to support both the academic and social-emotional well-being of all children. James asks for your vote to support our students and to build partnerships for success in today’s classroom.

Alyssa Williams
With a background in education, a son currently in high school and a passion for inclusivity, equity, and mental health, Alyssa Williams is ready to take on the difficult issues facing our district schools. Furthermore, with this valley being the wonderfully diverse place it is, Alyssa’s
certification as an ESL teacher allows her to understand the challenges of learning a new language and ensuring these families do not feel excluded from the educational process. Alyssa has been vocal throughout her campaign about the fact that students, teachers, and staff must be considered and consulted in the major decisions that will impact them. Our district will benefit with your vote for Alyssa.

Sebastian Cazares
As the teachers’ choice candidate this election, I’m running to put students and educators— not bureaucracy — first. I’m a homegrown leader who served as COC’s Associated Student Government President, presiding over a near million dollar budget, programs, and initiatives critical to the college. The student community resoundingly elected me to be their main voice and advocate, and encouraged my run for the COC Board of Trustees. My candidacy is unique due to my experience and closenesses with our students, and I vow to always prioritize their needs and issues. Learn more about my story and vision at cazaresforcoc.com.

Children deserve their best chance I was involved with the Parent/Teacher Organizations at each of my children’s schools. I graduated from CSUN. I am CPA and independent businesswoman. I value transparency and fiscal accountability. Please vote for me to fight for the best future for our children. Cooper4Saugus.com
