Vote Maria Gutzeit For SCV Water Support Maria Gutzeit for Re-Election to the SCV Water Agency Board of Directors
Maria Gutzeit is running for re-election to Division 3 of the SCV Water Agency. A champion of cost control, transparency, and clean water, she was first elected in 2003. Gutzeit is currently Board Vice President, and also serves as President of the Upper Santa Clara Valley Joint Powers Authority and sits on the SCV Groundwater Sustainability Agency.
In addition to serving at the water agency, Gutzeit is an engineer and business owner. Her company, Compliance Plus, has provided environmental regulatory compliance services to industry, non-profits, and government entities for 25 years. Her husband is also a local small business owner, and they have a 10-year-old daughter and 3 rescue dogs.
Gutzeit said: “Our country faces many tough challenges. Climate change. A damaged economy. A disdain for science. I want to continue working to provide clean water at the lowest possible cost so our community can thrive.”
