The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
JACKSON
“I was surrendered to the Palmdale Animal Shelter by my family because of medical issues and my age. I am a low-key 12-year-old senior and do have pretty bad arthritis but so far here I am doing pretty well. I am a good eater, I am potty-trained, like to go for super slow mostly sniffing walks, and enjoy sitting out in the sun with the other little dogs here at The Ranch. If you would like to change the life of a senior who would also happen to make a great Netflix binge-watching partner, I am the guy for you.”

BOWIE
“I was rescued from a high kill shelter on New Years Eve December of 2018. I have been here for almost 2 years and I am so ready for a home of my own. This year I have seen so many of my furry friends leave and go to their forever homes and I hope my turn is coming soon. I am 10 years, just 10 lbs. and they think a Chihuahua with a dash of Corgi mixed in. But who knows? I am happy, enjoy long walks, chewing on my Nylabones, and playing with my toys. I would love to spend my golden years in an adult home with no other animals where I can be the center of your world. Do you have room in your heart for a spunky senior like me?”

MASON
This adorable 2 year old Chiweenie had a pretty rough start in life. He was not well cared for and was actually stepped on which has caused partial paralysis. He is currently going to rehabilitation therapy and is making good strides with hydrotherapy and laser treatments. He can stand but it will take months of therapy to know if he will ever be able to take more than a few steps at one time. Despite all he’s been through he adores every person he meets and does well with other dogs his own size but we do think he would prefer to have 100% of your love and affection.
If you are interested in fostering or sponsoring Mason, please email or call us.
KING
“I lived with a homeless person who became ill and turned me into the Palmdale Animal Shelter. There I sat for months waiting to be saved and just in the nick of time I was rescued by The Brittany Foundation. I am a happy-go-lucky 12 year old guy, who loves every person I meet, really like my long walks, and then enjoying a good afternoon nap. I appear to be house-broken too but of course every dog needs a little extra help with that when they go to a new home. I do need to be an only dog but I promise I will be more than enough. I would just love to know what the warmth and love of living in a home feels like. Do you have room in your heart and home for an old guy like me?”
If you are interested in adopting, fostering or sponsoring King, please email or call us.
