The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home

A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.

Our big beautiful Doberman Pinscher Max is looking for a foster home. This gentle giant was left at a boarding facility by his family where he lived for 2 years before we rescued him. We think he is about 7 years old and does take one pill daily to help him with his mobility. He enjoys short leisurely walks, endless cuddling, is a great co-pilot in the car, can be a bit of a Cookie Monster and loves lounging in the sun. He did get to briefly live in a home but unfortunately he was returned to us so we think it would be best if he was the only dog in the home. He is incredibly kind, loving and gentle so we are looking for a quiet home with the same qualities where he can live his best life.

This little special needs Chiweenie is looking for a foster home. He suffered an injury due to neglect which caused permanent damage to his back legs. When we rescued him he was living in a home that was not equipped to help him with his disability. He was left in an ill-fitted wheelchair that actually caused more damage to his legs. Since he has been with us, he is going to hydrotherapy sessions, getting laser treatments weekly and he has even started to take several steps in a row on his daily walks. He is able to stand on his own and we think as he continues to get stronger he will be able to walk even further. He is about 5 years old, adores every person he meets and loves to cuddle. We would love to see him in a home where he can be the center of someone’s world and finally receive the unconditional love he has been longing for. If you would like to meet Mason please call or email us so we can set up a time.

Holly needs a home! This beautiful 5 year old German Pinscher mix has had a pretty rough go. She was adopted as a puppy, then returned to the rescue she was adopted from. She had lived at that rescue for the past 2 years and now that rescue closed so she is now with us. We are looking for an active adult only home for her where she can finally feel the stability of a loving home. So far we can tell you she loves long walks and hikes, knows basic commands, is potty-trained, is very proud of her toy collection and once she trusts you the kisses and snuggles are plentiful. If you are looking for a faithful friend and a great workout partner, Holly is the girl for you.

This striking 2 year old is not only beautiful but very smart. She knows many basic commands, loves long walks and shows such warmth to every person she meets. She is very active so she needs a person who is committed to daily physical activity and an experienced adopter. She is athletic so minimum 6 foot fences are required to be considered as a potential adopter. They say she is a Cattle Dog, Malamute, Shepherd with a small percentage of Grey Wolf. In any event there is no doubt she is stunning. We think she would do best as an only dog in the home with no young children but with proper training and socialization we think she could be introduced to other dogs. With structure and guidance from the right person we think the sky’s the limit in what Zoey could learn to do.
