Lawn Core Aeration
Now that spring is here the trees are beginning to bloom. Boys of summer are ready to start going out. The barbecue grill has been idle for months. The pet dog has its leash ready for long walks. Your mind is thinking of replenishing your lawn, so you and your family will enjoy it throughout the summer.
Your lawn can be fortified and replenished by relieving soil compaction caused by changes in the weather, lack of water, foot traffic, and natural soil conditions.
An excellent way to relieve soil compaction is lawn core aerating. Lawn core aerating is done by a machine that resembles a lawn mower that pulls cylindrical cores of grass and dirt from the lawn, creating cavities at root level. Once the grass and dirt cores are raked from the lawn, the cavities are open to receive the needed nutrients including air, fertilizer, mulch, and gyp-sum to have your lawn restored to the shape it used to be in. Lawn core aerating will preserve water by preventing water run-off whether the lawn surface is flat or sloped. In summary, aerating will give you a beautiful lawn for spring and summer for your enjoyment!
