Grand Opening in Old Town Newhall: Laemmle Theater

For years the Old Town Newhall area has been on a constant climb for improvement. And last month the Santa Clarita community was invited to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Laemmle Newhall Theater. This grand opening had a brief speaking program that featured City of Santa Clarita Mayor Bill Miranda, Laemmle Theatres’ President Greg Laemmle and Laemmle Theatres’ Senior Vice President Jay Reissbaum. Due to public health orders related to the COVID-19 pandemic only a limited number where able to be a part of the celebration. After the speaking engagement attendees were welcomed to see inside and get a sneak peak of what the movie theater has to offer, and trust me, it is quite amazing.
