Reflecting On Our Past Accomplishments
As we close out another school year, we cannot help but reflect on all that we accomplished during the 2020-2021 year. Never before had our students had a virtual first day of school; never before had our students changed their schooling structure in the middle of the year; and never before had our students had a second first day of school as they returned to full day in person learning. But this year they did all those things, and they did them with open minds, and open hearts.
We are so grateful to our students for being so flexible and willing to adapt to and overcome the challenges that we faced. We are forever in admiration of our teachers and staff and the dedication, innovation, and inspiration they provided to the students, each other, and our community. We could not have achieved the success that we did if not for everyone willing to lend a hand, jump in, and help out whenever and wherever was needed.
To the parents, families, and community members of our students – thank you. Thank you for trusting us to always keep your child’s best interest as our priority; thank you for working with us as we navigated the changing regulations to get your students back in the classroom; and thank you for being a large part of what makes the Newhall School District so great.
For our sixth-grade students who will be completing their journey with the Newhall School District this month, we wish you success in your future. We are confident that your time in the Newhall School District has prepared you for Junior High and we hope that you carry the lessons you have learned well into your future endeavors.
Enrollment in the Newhall School District is open for students of all grade levels, and we welcome the opportunity to share our mission of empowering every child every day with you! Contact Rosana Valadez at (661)291-4163 for enrollment information.
