The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home – June 2021
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
DIANA
This ridiculously adorable and happy Corgi and Chihuahua mix is a star! We think she is about 4 years old, enjoys short walks, toys, and all the attention humanly possible. We are working to get her weight down a bit and she has already lost 4 pounds. She loves every person she meets, gets along great with other dogs and has a smile that could light up a city block. She is ready for her forever home now. Could that be with you?
LOLA
That face is everything without a doubt! But she needs a special adopter or foster who has proven experience living successfully with a pup who has paralysis. Despite her disability she is a complete love to everyone she meets, cuddles like crazy, loves her toys and surely is one of the most photogenic pups we have ever seen. She was recently fitted for a new wheelchair and she loves nothing more than to go for walks in it. We are actively looking for a person who can help her live her absolute best life in a home of her very own. Lola is about 8 or 9 years.
CAPPY
This gorgeous guy is one of our newest faces here at The Ranch. His family said they were moving and could not take him with them. He’s only ever known one home and one family so he is understandably confused but despite that he is as loving as he could be to everyone he meets. We think he is 9 years old and a Pomeranian or possibly a Schipperke but his hair is soft and beautiful like that of a Border Collie. He only weighs about 12 pounds so he is the perfect size for just about any situation. He is also great on a leash and gets along just fine with other dogs his own size. If you are looking for the perfect companion, he is the guy for you.
DERBY
This gentle and kind girl was one of four dogs surrendered to us from the same home. We think she is about 15 years old, about 30 lbs., and possibly a Jackabee, that is, Beagle and Parsons Jack Russell mix but, of course, we can never be sure. She is super chill, enjoys short leisurely walks and gets along well with other dogs. She does have obvious signs of arthritis so she will take medication daily to help her with mobility. We think her angelic eyes say it all and we hope someone will find it in their heart to give her a calm and loving home where she will only know warmth and kindness for the rest of her life.
