Physical and Emotional Healing Offered at Oakmont Senior Living

Oakmont of Valencia and Oakmont of Santa Clarita are well-known for supportive services in luxury assisted living and memory care, but I am excited to introduce some new features which have enhanced better outcomes with wellness and recovery.
We now offer outpatient rehabilitation therapy up to 5 days a week for our residents at both of our Oakmont communities in the SCV. We have onsite providers from Orthopaedic and Neurological Rehabilitation (ONR, Inc.) for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. All rehab services are covered by Medicare and most other insurances. Because of this recent addition to our service repertoire, we can clinically address pain, fall prevention, Parkinson’s disease, post-surgical recovery, neurological therapies, fall-prevention, and many more issues which plague the senior population. The path to wellness is at Oakmont!
Our residents often need the healing power of our experts, but so do their families. We are bringing back the Family Caregiver Support Group at Oakmont of Valencia. This is a great opportunity to build a support system of people who understand the daily difficulties of providing care to someone who has Alzheimer’s Disease or another form of dementia. You do not need to be a family member of someone who lives at Oakmont in order to be able to attend, but you do need to register before attending.
