Santa Clarita Ballet Academy
This fall, the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy is happy to announce we will be open for all classes, Creative Movement through Professional level. This past year, COVID-19 has had a huge impact on us all, especially our children. Thanks to our loyal clientele the majority of our students, ages 8 and up, were able to maintain their training this past year thanks to Zoom technology. Overall, it was our youngest students, ages 3 through 7, that had a much more challenging time on Zoom. We are therefore welcoming and wanting enrollment for these younger dancers at our academy. We offer an outstanding program for this age range that emphasis creativity, musicality, imagination, as well as the early building blocks needed for good physical coordination.
If you have a child, and are looking to start them in dance, Santa Clarita Ballet Academy is a wonderful place to start their dance education. SCB provides a comprehensive graded program based on the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance in London. We are one of largest RAD schools in the Southern California area. With a world class faculty and over 30 years of training experience, we are confident you will be happy at SCB.
In addition, we are the home of the Santa Clarita Ballet Company, a non-profit city-based performing company. We provide a wonderful performance outlet for all ages that includes a long-standing community favorite, our annual Nutcracker. All performances are held at the Performing Arts Center at College of The Canyons.
Online Fall Registration begins on Thursday July 1st. For more information on how to enroll for classes, please visit us at www.santaclaritaballet.net or phone the studio at 661-251-6844. To secure your space in class this fall, we recommend you register early.
