The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
DAISY MAE
This silly, fun-loving 7 year-old Miniature Pinscher is here because her person became too sick to care for her and there were no family members who would take her in. She loves every person she meets and gets along well with other dogs her own size. She can be pretty rambunctious and vocal so a home with shared walls would not be ideal for her. She needs good long walks and enrichment activities because she is a high energy breed who can get bored easily. If you are looking for an active and adventurous best friend, she is the one for you.
MASON
This adorable 6 year-old Chiweenie had a pretty rough start in life. He was not well-cared for and was actually stepped on which has caused partial paralysis. He is currently going to rehabilitation therapy and is making good strides with hydrotherapy and laser treatments. He can stand and take a few steps. He does take daily walks with the help of a body sling and has a wheel chair too. Despite all he’s been through he adores every person he meets, loves his toy collection and does well with other dogs his own size although we do think he would prefer to have 100% of your love and affection. If you are interested in fostering or sponsoring Mason, please email or call us.
CHOCOLATE & SPICE
This precious 12 year-old Chihuahua pair lost the only home and person they have ever known but despite these unsettling life changes they are just as sweet as can be. They are first in line for walks, love to play with toys and enjoy the attention of every person they meet. They are very close, they room together, hang out together, sleep next to each other and will only be placed in a home together. Chocolate does take one pill daily but we are hopeful as her weight comes down that will no longer be necessary. This adorable duo we are sure would bring lots of love into your life.
LOLA
That face is everything without a doubt! But she needs a special adopter or foster who has proven experience living successfully with a pup who has paralysis. Despite her disability she is a complete love to everyone she meets, cuddles like crazy, loves her toys and surely is one of the most photogenic pups we have ever seen. She was recently fitted for a new wheelchair and she loves nothing more than to go for walks in it. You would not even believe how quick she can move in it and how happy she is to have the freedom her chair provides. We are actively looking for a person who can help her live her absolute best life in a home of her very own. If you are interested in fostering or sponsoring this precious 9 year old Pug, please email or call us.
