Getting to Know Agent Nilton Rodrigues State Farm® Insurance

Nilton Rodrigues has been a State Farm agent for over six years now, since opening his agency in May 2015. Nilton started working for State Farm about a year earlier, and before that, spent 25 years working in the financial services industry. So, he is well-rounded and able to help his customers in a variety of ways.
He proud to serve the residents of Newhall and the Santa Clarita area in several capacities. His office handles home-owners insurance, auto insurance, life insurance, renters insurance and more—including financial services, of course. They assist customers who speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Nilton was drawn to the insurance industry out of a desire to serve, and the most rewarding part of his job is being able to assist customers in meeting their goals. At his agency, they take great pleasure in helping people protect the things that matter most to them—and helping them plan for a successful future. He truly enjoys sharing what he knows, and loves getting out and meeting members of the community at events like the Senses Block Party, the Cowboy Festival, and other concerts and fairs.
Nilton was born in Brazil and came to the United States as a student when he was 20 years old, he graduated with a degree in Business Management from Marylhurst University in Oregon, and moved to California a little while later. He finally settled in the Santa Clarita community back in 1999. He has been married for over 37 years and has three children and four grandchildren, and he loves spending time with his growing family. He serves as board chairman for Old Town Newhall—which is very close to his agency’s office—and in his spare time, he likes to get out and enjoy nature on hikes and bike rides.
