Congratulations Chandra Gibbs

Wife, Mother of two, and Engineer, Chandra Gibbs is a woman on the rise and truly makes having it all look so effortless! From humble beginnings, Chandra comes from a small town called Hemet, California with her mom and sister. As a girl, her mother instilled values morals of hard work, having a caring heart, and to always give and be respectful. Life was not always easy but through her mother’s guidance she went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and went on to obtain her Master of Science in biomedical engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Watching her mother live with chronic pain from a neck injury inspired her to pursue her current career at Boston Scientific, an industry giant in medical manufacturer of medical devices used in interventional medical specialties. Here she finds great reward in helping and seeing the impact in people’s lives the company has with theirç devices. In her spare time, Chandra was an avid hospital volunteer pre-COVID and lend her sewing skills to help create masks for the community when the pandemic struck. She also enjoys cooking When Chandra is not ensuring the quality and structure of implantable devices, she enjoys spending time with her husband Jason, and two young children Aiden and Avery. Chandra is proud to be a part of the class of 2021 for 40 Under Forty and remains humble for this honor.
