by | Nov 1, 2021 | On The Town

A ribbon-cutting ceremony welcomed the new, state-of-the-art Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station on Golden Valley Road on Monday, October 18. The dignitaries attending the event included Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Captain Justin Diez, Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva, Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Congressman Mike Garcia, State Senator Scott Wilk and Assemblymembers Tom Lackey and Suzette Martinez Valladares.
The new station is on a 12-acre site between Centre Pointe and Robert C. Lee parkways. The groundbreaking was held in 2018 for the facility. It is replacing the 50-year-old current station, of 25,100 square feet, with a variety of features that 46,481 square feet will soon provide.
