Our cows are so wise and intuitive, that no matter what you need, they know how to heal you. Cows are very affectionate and demonstrative with each other and are happy to extend their love to us when we need them. Cows are a matriarchal society where they nurture each other’s babies, discipline the teenagers, and groom each other every day after breakfast. They are grounded, centered, and know who they are. The Gentle Barn is a nonprofit organization that is home to animals rescued from severe abuse and neglect, and host to people going through their own trauma. The Gentle Barn is open to the public on Sundays, birthday parties on Saturdays, and field trips, private tours, and those with special needs during the week.
