A Month To Spring Into Learning New Things
From the silly to the lofty—at Newhall School District
So much that is special and meaningful is happening in April this year: For the pranksters in us, the month begins with April Fools Day. Those wanting to do something good for our planet have Earth Day, on April 22, to look forward to. For people of various faiths, Passover is April 15 -23; Easter falls on April 17; and Ramadan lasts from April 2 to May 2.
Lots of diversity to celebrate, and plenty of ideas to keep adults and children’s minds occupied.
The nurturing of young minds happens not just in April but every month at Newhall School District, where we value the diversity and individuality of every student!
Our motto is “Empowering Every Child Every Day,” and Newhall School District students go on to achieve at higher levels, thanks to NSD’s whole-student development philosophy, which combines the strengthening of students’ minds, bodies, and values.
We boast 10 award-winning campuses in the Santa Clarita Valley: McGrath, Meadows, Newhall, Oak Hills, Old Orchard, Peachland, Pico Canyon, Stevenson Ranch, Valencia Valley, and Wiley Canyon. Our district is open to all children, even those living outside district boundaries.
Enrollment in Transitional Kindergarten through 6th Grade is possible throughout the year. So, Parents: As you welcome the newness of spring, contact us, and spring into a new world of possibilities for the education and development of your child at NEWhall School District!
Simply visit www.NewHallSchoolDistrict.com, or call Rosana Valadez (in English or en Español) at (661) 291-4163 to start the enrollment process.
NEW ideas, NEW friendships, NEW beginnings—in the fun, silly things as well as those that inspire us to think beyond ourselves and cause our world to grow: That’s Newhall School District, where the child comes first!
