The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
MOJO
This little love was surrendered to us from the only family he had ever known along with 3 other dogs over a year ago. We think he is about 12 years old and a Rat Terrier mix. We are so fortunate; the other 3 dogs have all found wonderful forever homes and we are hoping Mojo’s turn is next. He was very scared and shy when he first arrived here at The Ranch but has thrived living with our other senior small pups. He is quite independent, fits right into any situation and has a saunter worthy of his own Tik Tok account.
FLORENCE
We are not sure a pup could be any cuter or sweeter than Florence. This special needs senior loves to be held and nuzzles right into you like a baby. She is vision and hearing impaired and also has neurological challenges, so we are looking for an experienced forever foster for this tiny angel. Someone who will love her unconditionally the way we do. Despite all of her physical challenges she loves to walk independently around our senior play yard, is not afraid to let you know when she needs attention or assistance, and can smell a treat from a mile away. We think she is about 12 years old and an absolutely adorable poodle mix.
FALCON
This handsome guy was adopted as a puppy by a well-meaning family, but they already had several other dogs and unfortunately one more proved to be too much for them, so he was surrendered to us. Falcon was pretty shut down when he first arrived here but my, how that has changed. He is excited to see everyone, loves to go for long walks with anyone who will take him and is also just as content for you to sit and rub his belly too. Not to mention it’s impossible to take a bad photo of him. He is just 2 years old and based on appearance seems to be a Cattle dog mix although his personality is much more chill than his breed suggests.
MASON
That smile! Those ears! Mason was brought to us after an injury in the home caused him to be paralyzed and they were going to euthanize him. Because of that injury he does drag both of his back legs, but he doesn’t let that slow him down one bit. He is strong-willed, self-sufficient, loves everyone, plays with toys and is very affectionate. He is about 7 years old, and we think a Chiweenie although we can never quite be certain about that. We are hoping to find an experienced special needs foster for him in the Santa Clarita area since that is where veterinarian is located. If you are experienced with pups that are paralyzed and would like to meet Mason, please contact us.
