Child & Family Center’s Taste of the Town

Child & Family Center is pleased to present our 33rd annual food and wine fest on Sunday, May 1. The main event takes place from 2:00 – 5:00pm with VIP Early Access from 1:00 – 2:00pm. Taste of the Town will be held at a new location – the beautiful Blomgren Ranch, nestled in the hills and canyons on Sierra Highway in Santa Clarita.

The 54nd Annual Premier Volunteer Recognition Event, 2022 Santa Clarita Valley Man and Woman of the Year dinner, will be held Friday, May 6, 2022, at 6 p.m., at the Hyatt Valencia. The purpose of the Santa Clarita Valley Man and Woman of the Year Recognition is to honor men and women who have given outstanding volunteer service to the Santa Clarita Valley area.

American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life

The Relay For Life movement is dedicated to helping communities attack cancer. Through funds donated, time given, or awareness raised, our communities are teaming up – virtually or in person – to make a difference. When we rally together in the fight against cancer, we can accomplish anything.

COC Foundation’s Silver Spur Honoring Bruce Fortine

The College of the Canyons Foundation will honor Bruce Fortine with the 2022 Silver Spur Community Service Award for his longtime support of the college. A Santa Clarita Valley native, Fortine was elected to the college’s first Board of Trustees in 1967. His enthusiastic and unwavering support continues to this day.

Zonta Club of SCV’s Women in Service Celebration

Women in Service Celebration will be held May 14, 2022 at The Centre, 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway in Santa Clarita. Doors open at 10am, with the Celebration
beginning at 11 am. Lunch provided by Piccola Trattoria. The Centre is located on Centre Pointe Parkway near Golden Valley Rd. Registration is $75 prior to May 1 and $90 after. Reservations are required. Organization nominees are the guests of Zonta. Reservations
