Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley’s 1st Annual Cheri Fleming Shining Star Legacy Award
On Sunday, June 12, 2022, eighteen woman were nominated by different non-profits to win the Cheri Fleming Shining Star Legacy Award. The Cheri Fleming Shining Star Legacy Award was created in honor of Cheri Fleming and her mission to give back to her community and empower others. Guests enjoyed a fashion show from local models with clothes from Closet on Main and Assistance League Resale store. Congratulations to Abigail Alvidrez from SCV Boys & Girls Club. Abby did great work elevating the Club in the last 12 months to provide critical programs and services to youth when schools went to remote learning and in the community of Val Verde.
