Breast Cancer Awareness Month Join our Calendar of Giving in support of Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center
This year, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital celebrates 18 years of Excellence at the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the hospital invites the community, local businesses and restaurants to partner with the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation to raise awareness and funding for the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center. Select restaurants and businesses offer something already on their menu or create a special item for the month and call it the “Sheila.” Interested in supporting the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center this October? Contact Jackie Rae Petta, Foundation Specialist at 661-200-1202 or pettajr@henrymayo.com for more information. Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital would promote your business to our supporters and ask them to ask for the “Sheila” at participating locations. At the end of the month, the business would provide the hospital with a percentage of the proceeds from that item.
These gestures of support will allow the hospital to continue the lifesaving work of providing state-of-the art screening, treatment and technology to residents in the Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding communities. The hospital is so grateful for the community support – we truly have accomplished so much because of our generous partners.
Thank you to our early community partners for Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Egg Plantation, Hart & Main, Results Fitness, Santa Clarita Magazine, Valencia, Canyon and Sherman Oaks Car Wash, and XRO Fresh Churro Bar.
The Henry Mayo Auxiliary will hold its annual Bingo or Bust event on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 6 p.m. in the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Education Center.
