Meet the Candidate Denise Lite Running for City Council
Denise Lite, candidate for Santa Clarita City Council, is a new face on the political scene, has proven knowledge of critical City issues, and will bring a fresh, stimulating perspective to the council.
Denise Lite has 26 years of experience as a FAMILY LEGAL ADVOCATE, attorney, mediator, and non-profit board member.
While in office, Lite’s priorities will include
1. Public Safety, Security, & Infrastructure
2. Economic Vitality & Growth
3.Community Building & Organizational Cooperation
4. Homelessness: Santa Clarita residents have paid OVER $26.5 MILLION in taxes under Measure H. Of that, only $674,986 has made it back to the Santa Clarita Valley to fund local homeless services. In other words, Santa Clarita has only received 2.5% in Measure H funds back! 2.5% is a terrible return on investment. Our City needs more effective advocacy to get Measure H funds back into Santa Clarita for local use.
5. A No-Kill Animal Shelter: As a candidate for the upcoming City Council election Lite supports a proposal for a no-kill animal shelter, as do the 5,500 residents who signed a petition supporting such a facility. A no-kill shelter within our City means that no animal will be killed for lack of space or time of stay.
Visit ElectDeniseLite.com/Priorities for specifics on numbers 1-3.
Denise Lite is endorsed by Congressman Mike Garcia, Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Mayor Pro Tem Jason Gibbs, Deputy District Attorney Jonathan Hatami, KHTS Hometown Station, The Signal Editorial Board, and many more. For a complete list of endorsements, visit her website at www.ElectDeniseLite.com/endorsements.
The City of Santa Clarita needs stronger, more effective advocacy. We’ve had the same full-time politicians for the last 20 years, producing part-time results. Stop recycling career politicians. Vote for fresh ideas and a relatable perspective for your future. On November 8th, VOTE Denise Lite for City Council.
