Suverna Mistry Running for Newhall School District Area 2
I am a mother of two children who currently attend the Newhall School District. I am committed to serving our students, families, teachers and community. For the last two years, I have successfully advocated for the reopening of schools and restoring normalcy to our children. I firmly believe that parental involvement is the key to student success and strong public schools. The number one priority in education should be the students. I currently serve on our School Site Council where I am involved in setting and reviewing school goals, monitoring expenditures, overseeing school programs and reviewing the school safety plan. I am also actively involved in our Parent Teacher Organization where I have chaired and served on several committees. My background as a former attorney & litigator helps me analyze, research and advocate for various issues affecting our school district. Through increasing parental involvement & building a strong community of parents, teachers and administrators working together, I believe Newhall School District can excel into the future. I hope to gain your support!
