Congratulations to Kimberly Carden

Join us in congratulating Kimberly Carden on being a 2022 JCI 40 Under Forty honoree. As a 10-year resident of the Santa Clarita Valley, Kimberly is an example to us all of a positive role model, a nurturing friend, and mentor. Her contributions not only enrich her own family, but also her local community and those she touches through her work as a structural engineer.
Kimberly’s tenure with structural engineering firm John A. Martin & Associates as a Senior Project Manager has yielded creative and award-winning designs for projects across Southern California. The diversity of her talents is apparent in her approaches and management, and the ongoing mentoring and instruction of younger staff and school-age kids she offers via a professional mentoring program that assists kids in learning about the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. This commitment echoes the same level of involvement and passion that Kim has made in her community. As a FIT4MOM instructor she offered support, guidance, and a listening ear to new mothers. As a current Cub Scout Pack Den Leader, she has broadened membership and initiated new learning and exercise opportunities that introduce STEM lessons and experiences to youth and their families. And as a Team Parent for her local AYSO team, Kim has helped foster an atmosphere of teamwork and healthy lifestyle habits for those around her. Our firm is immensely proud of Kim’s accomplishments and humbled by the dedication and energy she continually shows to those around her.
