The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home – January 2023
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
MIA
Before being surrendered here almost a year ago, along with Frank, this lovable girl lived in the same home for 7 years. Her family lost their home, and they were not able to find a place to live that would allow them to keep their dogs. Mia is puppy-like, silly, and greets every stranger with a wagging tail. She loves walks and even insists on taking one of her toys on every walk. She will, however, let you carry it on the way back. Her favorite things are her toys and her sofa. She would be the perfect couch snuggling companion to binge watch your favorite shows. Mia will thrive as the only dog in the house, where she can get all the attention a pibble princess like her deserves.
FRANK
This adorable Dachshund Lab mix is 7 or 8 years old and so sweet. He is small in stature but big in personality. His zest for life is unparalleled. He is here because his family lost their home, but that was almost a year ago. He gets along great with everyone, dogs and cats included. Unfortunately, he became partially paralyzed before he was surrendered to us. We are not sure what happened, but we do know he has damaged a disc, and there are no viable surgical options. Despite his disability, he gets around surprisingly well, as you can see him walking and even running on our Instagram page, @thebrittanyfoundation. He is always first in line to welcome new people and showers everyone he meets with lots of love.
