Meet Dr. Paul Tran
Dr. Paul Tran grew up in the suburbs of Washington DC. He went to high school at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology and attended college at the University of Virginia. He earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. He was honored with the James F. Lind Award for Outstanding Student in Surgery.
Dr. Tran continued his training at Eastern Virginia Medical School in General Surgery under the tutelage of Dr. L.D. Britt, past president of the American College of Surgeons. He was honored to be chosen as the L.D. Britt Administrative Chief Resident. He is board certified in General Surgery.
It was at the world-famous Mayo Clinic where Dr. Tran trained in Plastic Surgery. He remained on staff as a staff surgeon at the Mayo Clinic, the number one hospital in the US according to US News and World Report. At the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Tran learned the care the Mayo Clinic is famous the world over for, where “the needs of the patient comes first.”
Dr. Tran has traveled to Vietnam for multiple charitable missions, performing reconstructive surgeries for free, including cleft lips and palates.
Dr. Tran brings to the Valley his experience gained from training around the world. He is double board certified in Surgery and Plastic Surgery. He has learned from worldwide leaders in surgery and hopes to give you the best care possible.
