Go to their website and plug in the name of the contractor you’re considering and check their license! Even if you see it advertised. Make sure they have worker’s comp. This protects you when workers are on your property. No workers’ compensation, no entry. Many companies say they don’t have to have workers comp because they do all the work themselves. If you see an added worker on your property, you are not covered. This website is designed to support you, the consumer. It’s excellent and up to date. Check us all out before you let us onto your properties. You have recourse with the CSLB. Stick with legitimate companies and you’ll have a much better experience.
