Gilchrist Farm Spring & Egg Hunt 2023 March 25 & 26, April 1 & 2, and April 8th

Join us for an EGGsellent adventure! Join us for a celebration of Spring! Enjoy baby animals-goats, chicks, piglets and more! Create spring farm crafts. Take a picture with the EASTER BUNNY or one of our friendly REAL BUNNIES! We’ll have pony rides, horseback rides, our little farm train, and wagon rides to enjoy the farm! The GIANT SLIDE will be open! Try Out Archery or Axe Throwing! Spring Fling is a family event where kids can enjoy activities at the farm, visit and take pictures with the Easter Bunny, and participate in a giant egg hunt! There is no charge for entry or parking. You can purchase the egg hunt and activities individually or as a package deal by purchasing a full day wristband.
Spring Fling Hours 9:00 AM-4:00 PM -Egg Hunts at 10, 12 & 2
Pig Races at 11 am & 3 pm
WE ARE CLOSED Easter Sunday-SUNDAY APRIL 9
Egg Hunts take place at 10AM, 12PM & 2PM
(Each Hunt is Divided into age groups— ALL AGES take place at 10AM, 12PM & 2PM)-
EACH HUNT IS VERY LIMITED AND MAY SELL OUT, ADVANCED TICKETS ARE RECOMMENDED!
WE WILL SELL ONSITE FOR ANY HUNTS THAT ARE NOT SOLD OUT. ADULTS DO NOT NEED EGG HUNT TICKETS.
Each hunt is divided into FOUR age/ability groups:
EASY – Ages 3 and under. Eggs for all! Hidden in plain sight. An adult must accompany children for entire hunt.
MEDIUM -Ages 4-7 Partially hidden eggs, some obvious some less obvious. An adult must accompany children for entire hunt. Meant to encourage some looking but reward all hunters.
MEDIUM/DIFFICULT – Ages 8-10 Mostly hidden eggs with some giveaways. An adult must accompany children for entire hunt. Meant to challenge older children while still rewarding all hunters.
CHALLENGE COURSE for kids over 11 or any kid who wants an extra challenge! More of an obstacle course for the kids who have basically outgrown the simple hunt but still want a good challenge! Obstacles with actually hidden eggs. Adults accompany children to the hunt and then watch it unfold (no helping)! Eggs for all, but it won’t be easy!
ADULTS may accompany children at no cost. Adults do not need reservations to accompany their children to the egg hunt.
