Heavy Rainfall, It May Be Coming Again – Anco Design Build

Are you going to be ready this time? Yes, it’s only July, and fall and winter months are on their way again. Hopefully during the last rainfall season, you made it without leaky roofs or flooding issues. But many Santa Clarita residents did not fare so well. The National Weather Service long term forecast is predicting another El Nino weather pattern again this coming fall winter. Flooring and carpet can swell, shift, crack, and get mold. Those issues can de-value your home, and a lot of those items are not covered in your homeowners insurance policy. It’s not worth the gamble. You can be ready.
Now for the good news. Be proactive and deal with these issues before they deal with you. Drainage systems are very affordable. Adding gutters can reduce damage to your home’s facia, stucco, and your windows. Drain systems, when properly designed, can keep water from puddling around the foundation, and keep your home stable and beautiful.
